Lost Boyz sits within a 10 minute walk of Santa Teresa’s best surf breaks, skate parks, cafes and restaurants. Just inside the gate, a peaceful jungle hideout awaits, complete with howler monkeys swinging through the trees.

We are known for our social vibe. We have a free welcome shot for all new guests, free daily activities like pool parties and yoga classes, and a large communal kitchen that encourages you to connect with other travellers. We give out one free upgrade per week, drawing the lucky winner at random.

Guests enjoy 10% off all food and drinks at The Love Shack, our onsite bar & restaurant, serving Costa Rican food, Mexican food, cocktails, mocktails, and more.

Ask about surf lessons, ATV rental, transfers/shuttles, island adventures, horse riding, bioluminescence, and more!

While we spend our time playing in paradise, we are also strongly committed to protecting it as well. We are proud to offer eco-friendly accommodation, zero-water waste, responsible food waste management systems, and use of eco-friendly products.

Second time staying here! The pool area is beautiful and definitely necessary in santa teresa. Te hostel is clean, tidy, and always something to do. We did yoga, run cub, party, surf classes. The bar, location and staff were great.

Decent stay in a private suite, but it smelled musty and there were cockroaches in the bathroom upon arrival, making it feel unclean. After two days, the AC became extremely loud and started leaking, soaking the pillows and bedsheets. We had to use towels to manage the leak and decided to leave early. Staff texted us after we had already left, offering a refund for the unused night. We provided our information, but no action has been taken regarding the refund.

Wow!!!! The rooms were comfortable, clean, good wifi and big kitchen. We came here for the daily events and the vibes were 10000/10. Some hostels in Costa Rica are awkwarddd during low season but Lost Boyz is the place to meet people!!! If you’re a solo traveller, just book it! We made so many new friends, we’re travelling through Nicaragua with them right now. Big shout out to the incredible staff. We will be back…
