Good place for a short stay. Great location! Not enough bathrooms and some aren’t working. There were kids around which is strange for a hostel.

Fine for a night. Lockers cost $15/day ($5 plus a $10 lock) and no real kitchen to speak of, just a hot plate. Common area is just a big dining table. Plenty of outlets to charge but nowhere to hang out.

Fun hostel in a great location! Great tour options and easy to meet other travelers. Staff seemed too busy upselling to be genuine.

Great social hostel but quiet enough to sleep!

Great bar with great beee! Not really a hostel though—no common area other than the bar, which is only open during certain hours.

Very sterile atmosphere, not really a hostel vibe. Showers were gross.

Great stay. The beds are private, with blackout curtains, USB ports and outlets, a shelf, card-activated locker, and even a mirror at the bed. The bar has many local beers on tap too.

Great stay! Fun bar (and Stephanie at the bar!) but not a party hostel. Rooftop has an amazing view. Location is walkable to all of the sites, and super close to the metro as well.
Thank you for staying with us! We hope to see you again soon :)

Nothing special. Staff is good. Not enough bathrooms. “Every day is a free day” doesn’t exist so don’t get your hopes up.

We were here over the holidays and I’m sure it’s different other times of year but the place was full of families with young children running around and long-term locals. The hostel is run like a home but that means the staff invite their friends over to hang out and get high. That being said, the beds are nice and have curtains for privacy so that’s definitely a plus.

Good place but they take a deposit for EVERYTHING, which just shows it really attracts the wrong crowd. People making out in the dinner area, tent campers blocking the ocean view, and the staff playing beer pong all night. Not great for couples.

Staff is great and super helpful--thanks Maryam! The facilities could use some work. The bathroom stalls don't have doors on them and there aren't any (working) lockers. It's a really good place to meet travelers but it is a bit of a party hostel. Expect guests to come back to your room around 4am every day and expect to wake up to empty beer bottles and dirty dishes everywhere. Breakfast in the morning is great and the free filtered water is a nice treat.

The hostel was overbooked and refused us service. The staff were NOT helpful in finding alternate accommodations. Also note, THEY DO NOT ALLOW GUESTS OVER 30 IN THE DORMS!

The owner is awesome! Dorms are a bit crowded and the only showers are at the way other end of the hostel. Showers remind me of summer camp but they're fine. Great location on the square!
Thanks for your opinion! We really appreciate it! Safe travels

I think we were the only two guests there at the time so the dorm was like a private, but even when full it seems like there would be enough space. Closets for lockers and smoothies with breakfast. Recommended!

Great place, more like a hotel than a hostel. It's a great place for couples but the way it's set up solo-travelers may have a slightly tougher time. Probably one of the best breakfasts in South America and the staff is super friendly.

Great hostel. Friendly and knowledgable staff, awesome breakfast. Separate houses all along the property so it is never too crowded. Good dinners for 25 reais every night. Excellent beachfront property and a really communal vibe. Thanks!
Your comments are very appreciated, Thanks!!Take care, Jim

great building with awesomely-high ceilings. Plenty of places to hang out and play the ukelele. Not enough bathrooms. Can't even imagine it in high season as I always had to wait for a shower.

Great little tubes but the mud sure tracks in. The whole common area continues with the tube theme, but the mosquitoes in the common area almost make it unbearable to stay in (during the rainy season). Great little place, though!

perfect location but can get a bit noisy as the 24 hour burrito bar is just downstairs

great place in the jungle near the beach. Beware that private rooms are about 5 mins walk away--beware especially in monsoon season when that walk is not pleasant!

Great hotel in a quiet alley. The view of the Ganges is amazing, and the staff--especially Ricky--is super helpful. We had some issues with our onward train tickets and the staff called around to help us sort it, and accommodated us for an extra night with little notice. They then woke up at 5AM to check the status of our train for us and really treated us well. Great place. Thanks guys!

Really nice place with a great courtyard. Just inside the Eastern city gate, far enough from the Foreigner's strip to keep some of its authenticity but close enough to give you the salvation you probably need. Really helpful staff and better deals on bus tickets than the multitudinous travel agents around town.

Great place in a great location. Good food, pool tables, local/expat atmosphere. The rooms themselves are also far enough from the bar area that it's not that noisy at night, too.

Awesome building in an old synaggoue. The bar area is nice, and the staff could help with a trip to the ice festival at a discount. The location was excellent, right around the corner from St. Sofia's. The bathrrom and shower situation was poor at best. Only one shower for the entire hostel and it's in an unheated room. The unisex toilets were a little questionable as well. Overall, good location and good value.

Excellent hostel! Great activites every day (walking tour, bike tour, etc.) that pairs up with their partner hostel. The staff is AMAZING and very friendly and helpful. Good food and the prices are good too--both Chinese and Western dishes. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Chengdu
Then we'll see you again :) Have a nice day,

Super helpful staff. Weekend rooftop party was awesome, with burgers and pizza, and of course Tsing Tao beer. Shared showers are in the basement, which is a bit annoying, but no other complaints. On the top of a hill, and right near the markets

Helpful staff could map out the best way to get up the mountain, and gave a pretty good estimate on the time it would take as well! The computers in the lobby could use an upgrade but the wifi works pretty well.
